This new series considers the “technology” of destabilization as a method of domination, from interpersonal conflict to the geopolitical world stage. The first two soft sculptures, banana and oil, speak to long and ongoing histories of outside forces taking control of resources in the name of stability. Several more sculptures are in process, as well as a audio work.
