COHABITATION
Cohabitation is a multi-media project that reframes the negotiation of everyday relational boundaries and ideologies through the languages of geopolitical landscapes and diplomatic relations. This group of works explores how domestic tasks become de-gendered and re-gendered, how theoretical attempts at gender equality in heteronormative partnerships can fail in practice, and how notions of cleanliness and order intersect with traditional anthropological theories about otherness, pollution and danger.
