THE BECS
The Bureau of Existential Crisis Services was an interactive performance installation for a group show curated by The Work Office, made possible by the LMCC's Swing Space program. During the length of the installation, the public could visit the Bureau, speak to the aid worker, obtain educational pamphlets, fill out an application for aid, and expect a response by mail.
THE BUREAU RESPONDS
Every application for aid received an official response by mail from the Bureau of Existential Crisis Services. The responses included a letter with advice and suggestions, a one inch square acrylic cube with a personalized motivational message, and cube care instructions.
